Two
Moors Way.
103 miles
(163 km) in length, the Two Moors Way runs from the southern
edge of Dartmoor National Park in the south to Exmoor National
Park and coastal towns of Lynton and Lynmouth in the north.
The trail passes through diverse scenery of deep wooded valleys,
high moorland and the rich rolling agricultural landscape.
To travel the whole length of this trail leaves an indelible
impression of the beauty and tranquillity of unspoilt rural
Devon. Public transport, with rail links to Ivybridge at the
southern end and Morchard Road midway, enables one to tackle

miles (144 km) Easy walking circular route through a rich
variety of scenery. The trail passes through several of Devon's
ancient towns and villages enabling one to tackle it in easy
stages. An ideal weeks walking holiday for those wishing to
explore the delights of Dartmoor.

West
Devon Way
36 miles (58 km) Skirting the western edge of Dartmoor the
trail runs between the historic city of Plymouth and the
market town of Okehampton. Passing through deep wooded valleys,
open moorland and ancient towns and villages, this walk

Two
Castles Trail
24 miles (38 km) Norman fortresses lay at either end of this
historic trail. The route runs from Okehampton to Launceston
(Cornwall) passing through a variety of landscapes the trail
also offers a wealth of historic interest.

The
Tarka Trail
180 miles (290 km) Okehampton and Sticklepath lay on the
southernmost point of this famous trail which takes you through
some of Devon's most beautiful scenery. The circular route
extends from here, through Devon's heartland and the rugged
North Devon coastline. Part of the route is via the scenic
Tarka Line Railway and adequate public services facilitate
short daily excursions to parts of this popular trail. More
